Everett Bradley and President Barack Obama

Tonight, Everett Bradley, Our Time's Musical Director, will be performing in front of President Barack Obama with Jon Bon Jovi at the Commander-in-Chief Ball.

Congratulations Everett! We know you will rock the house and have a great time doing it. If you get a chance, would you mind sharing this poem with the President ... it was written by Our Time Alumni Jonathan Greig about a year before Barack Obama began running for President:

Who says I can’t write a play
Who says I can’t be a valedictorian
Who says I can’t build an airplane or be an astronaut
Who says I can’t act in a play
Who says I can’t make tons of friends
Who says I can’t be President
They may say it
But I don’t
Because I know I can

What will you be doing tonight?

Stars Record for Album Project!

Greg Parratto, Kelli O'Hara, Taro Alexander, & Everett Bradley

Our Time and Broadway stars alike are working hard in the recording studio to create Our Time's sophomore album! This photo was taken when the amazing and fabulous Kelli O'Hara (South Pacific, The Light in the Piazza, The Pajama Game, solo concert at Carnegie Hall, etc.) just finished recording Listen To Your Heart, a song written by Lindsay, the first-ever Our Time company member.

A few weeks later, the outstanding Michael Cerveris (Sweeney Todd, Lovemusik, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Assasins, etc.) came into the studio and recorded his part for this spectacular duet. And apparently, somehow these two Broadway stars had never worked together before. All of us at Our Time were delighted to be the catalyst of their first collaboration!

(Stay tuned for more fun pics and info on the kids and professional artists who are
participating. Hint, the list of amazing performers is long and impressive!)
